Love and hate

by Kenneth   Feb 16, 2007

Love and hate so closely bounded in fate
Both intense and without sense
Fighting them both is destroying an oath
One of the heart and soul and denying will take its toll
So closely related they can be switched and mixed
Creating sickness and chaos where ever they go
If wielded by an untrained heart they cause pain
Love in the hearts of the trained can heal the pain
Hate used with reason is a contradiction that ends in vindication
Defending those you love and what you cherish above all else
use hate to protect and love to heal and the mind to seperate which you feel

That was great - liked how you were saying that both exist, both have positives and negatives, but with a good mind you can separate them and use them as they were meant to be used. Very well thought out poem. 5/5
