Today I thought about you
I thought about our phone calls
and every word you have ever said
is still running through my head

Today I looked at a picture
the one of us
smiling and being happy
looking anything but crappy

Today I cried for you
wishing things could change
and be how they used to be
us, happy as can be

Today I heard our song
it tore my heart apart
as soon as I turned the radio on
and heard the first words of the song

Today I thought about you
just you alone
nothing more nothing less
asking myself how i got in this mess

Today I was crushed
I thought i could handle
being apart
but it was a stab in the heart

Tonight I will dream about you
your charm,your smile
all the wonderful things i love
about you sent from up above...
