Memories

by fvalconbridge   Feb 21, 2007

I walk down the pathway
through all the pretty tree's
Only birds can see
Only birds are free
I walk over the bridge way
And past the smelly swamp
Iwalk under our bridge
Memories there just rot
I climb up the mud hill
And stare blankly are the circles
Games we used to play
When both were my loved ones
I look to the left
And there she is again
The girl with the teddy
My mind begins to bend
Why hello my old friend
I should follow you back home
You will keep me safe
And warm in all this snow
We leave tracks as we walk
And I remember the lake
She takes me to that special place
And suddenly I wake
It hurts to much to live noww
Knowing what I lost
I look at my reflection
i realise what I miss most
the feelings that have outrun me
The pain that has engulfed me
The girl that is not me
Has walked me the tree
I look up at our seats
i look up at the lipstick
All my heartfelt carvings
I look up, my mind slips
I reach into my bag
And climb into the tree
The rope feels course and painful
But it fits me perfectly
I look at all the birds
And I think of all my friends
I think of all the pain
Now today is ends.

The only thing i advice is to write it as stanzas cos it looks complicated
But other than that i liked the story
