For Once

Watching you with her is one of the hardest things I've ever had to do
Watching you hug and kiss her, like we used to do
And the thing that hurts the most
is that everyone seems to boast
about what a cute couple you guys are,
and knowing that I am far
from ever being with you again

So now I'm not going to be selfish, no not me
and am going to wish you two to be as happy as can be
For this one time in my life
I notice you are without strife
so Im just going to say- I'm happy for you two
even though I don't want to say it to you
because for once I want you to be happy over myself

    This poem touched me alot. i think of my ex boyfriend that is now my best friend. he has her and at the same time i want him. it hurts but we want our guys to b happy i guess. this poem is putting this into words really well. loved it

    Might as well comment on this good poem again. Yeah I forgot to mention about school that I could proabably pass for a junior, becaues I am 6' but skinny as heck.
