Chocolate Raindrops

by Startle Me   Feb 22, 2007

Chocolate raindrops
Falling from the sky
Urging me to catch them
Chocolate won't pass me by

Head over heels, I fall
Those chocolate raindrop tease
Falling where needn't fall
Raindrops, rain on me please

Incredible, the taste
Heaven touched my lips
The liquid in my mouth
Turning solid and crisp

The rain slowly stopping
Need one more for torture
Two drops, fourteen
Last one, I'm so sure

Oh, how tearful, it stopped
Chocolate, please see me again
No chocolate will ever taste
The way you did just then

Dreaming loudly in my sleep
Why, heaven, have you gone?
Stop tormenting me, I'm suffering
I need gold, not silver, nor bronze

Chocolate, oh chocolate
Wherefore out thou chocolate
I miss you so
Please do not go
My chocolate, dear chocolate

Moments worth of pleasure
Forever, maybe, of despair
Ambushed with a miracle
Therefore, I was no prepared

**It's a metaphor**
