Singing A Sad Song

by Sarah Ann   Feb 25, 2007

I'm singing this sad song again
Writing my sorrows through this pen
And I'm hurt; way too hurt to breathe
Your love has been so cruel to me

I'm watching your lips move once more
Your words are lies that I abhor
Why can't your presence let me be
Your love has been so cruel to me

Tonight, I'm singing this sad song
Its screaming: "What did I do wrong?"
Once more, take all my sanity
Your love has set my poor soul free

I'm stronger now, and moving on
Packing my bags and singing songs
Sad ones remind me - I've survived
And nothing's easy to get by

I'm very unhappy with the way this turned out. Whatever.
