Trust (HA)

Trust is such a simple word,
spelled with such ease,
a small definition,
able to believe without cease.

Yet to never doubt,
to never think "that's a lie",
to name yourself venerable,
to invite your innocence to die.

It's never that easy,
to gain such things as faith,
when all you know is liars,
the ones that fail to keep you safe.

Once all your walls have been crossed,
you let anyone in,
they then know your weakness,
once a friend evolved to satan.

Trust is just a trap,
played in an evil game,
ending you as the victim,
with no cause to name.

Trust is such a simple word,
but is complex to find,
because people can't be trusted,
they know not the word of kind.

    Great poem, and once again i can greatly relate. Trust is something that i have not met that much.

    Wow that is the total truth actually. trust is something that you think you have from all of your friends but if you think about it something is going to get out from most of those people. it is hard to find and everyones lucky when they found it in someone. good work
