Sad fate

by jason   Mar 5, 2007

Listening silently across the room
hearing the voices through the door
hearing the broom
Fall to the floor

Watching the glass crash
onto the ground
the water goes splash
their is no other sound

except for the body hitting the carpet
leaving blood
stained on each thread
left their to mark it
body lay there dead

Listening silently across the room
all of this seen
and not making a single move
no attempt made to change
what happened that day

silently from across the room
tears filled the eyes
of a world confused

to scared to know what to do
hiding from the faces of all
so the scars and bruises do not show through

tears fall at night
swiftly dripping down the hands so cold
eyes for ever shifty
never more to be bold
as the truth of this world begins to unfold
sitting their legs held in arms
listening silently from across the room
then picking up the broom
sweeping the floor
getting yelled at for the tears
that were bore
wishing to be for ever no more
