Goodbye

I cut my wrists last night,
didn't know what else to do.
You promised me everything would be alright,
you told me all I needed was you.

I'm sorry for not being there
at the times you said you'd help me.
I know you're only trying to care
but I cant hurt you anymore.

Maybe we shouldn't speak anymore,
I feel like I'm letting you down.
So I'm sorry but this is my goodbye
now I'm alone just waiting to die.

    Such a sad write.

    The feeling of hopelessness, of self blame and wishing to make amends that runs throughout is very powerfully written. Even at such a young age you knew how to engage the reader and get them to live the emotions portrayed.
