Ramp Ceremony

One bullet it took
Straight to my heart
I await for the planes arrival
When will it start

The tear's start streaming
Possibly without end
My husband dead
Along with his four friends

Serving there country
What they did best
But It was there time to go
They were laid to rest

As they load the aircraft
The soldiers final goodbyes
You hear prairs out loud
You can even here their cry's

Almost like the bodies waving
The silence is felt
The sorrow amongst us
Death, has been dealt

The families waiting
At the other side
Wishing it was a dream
There tears they cannot hide

Why did this happen
They ask themselves
Why my baby's
The Pain is felt

The aircraft finally arrives
The caskets are brought
Their families greet
Nothing but a wooden box

Nothing they can do
Just in complete shock
Why my loved one
Why comeback in a box
