Poem Called: Forgiveness

Poem called: Forgiveness

Tormented By the thoughts that swarm my mind

People don't know me; it's like there blind

Blind to see whom I really am.

Blind to see what I can really be.

But I'm just as blind as them you see.

Can you see?

Can you see that I want to be free?

Free from this hurt and pain.

My tears fall from my eyes like rain.

I cringe at the thought of living the next day.

But what's the price I'd be willing to pay?

I want to know the right way.

The right way to live.

My life I'm willing to give.

Please save me from myself.

I'm willing to get on my knees.

And beg God please, to hear my cries.

And forgive me for all my lies.

I'm willing to give myself up today

And get down and pray for

Forgiveness.
