Longing Breath

by MissAlotta   Mar 13, 2007

Longing Breaths induce the surface

As pounding beats begin to decline

Vacillant arms waver anxiously beneath

Grasping only the marrow of bitter brine

Eyes gradually succumb to darkness

Old pictures project upon thee agile mind

Fleeting across the fields of lost cognition

Blackness deluges the pictures into blindness

Chains from below seize the breathless

Dragging intemperately to the depths of abyss

Embracing the cold carcass within it's grapple

It gives it one last lamenting kiss.
