Forgot

by Amy   Apr 9, 2004

I woke up today
With every intention of forgetting.
I told myself it was done
And I would stop my pretending.

Today would be different
No more hurt and pain.
My happiness and pleasant thoughts
I was sure to regain.

I miss and love you so much
But you’ll never ever know.
I guess it happened again;
I forgot to let go.

**This is the REAL poem. I messed up when I was putting it on here. THIS is the REAL poem called "Forgot". This is dedicated to Aaron Blackwell who I'll always love. **
