Strive to be thin

by cupidsxvictim   Mar 18, 2007

On the track,
not looking back.
clock strikes one
Alone I run
Running low on air
and I'm fully aware
but I don't stop
not until I drop.
no destination
painful sensation
burning it away
vision fades to Grey
running so long
gotta stay strong
can't give in to pain
on the track I remain
Not getting off it,
fighting urges to sit
pick up my pace
can't be a disgrace
Running faster
till life's not a disaster.
vision from Grey to blurry
don't drop yet, gotta hurry.
stride after stride
pain attacks like a tide
Losing control,
focus on the goal.
my left foot stumbles
and my belly tumbles.
fall flat on the ground
I hope I lost a pound.
