I'll Have To Wait

by Allison   Mar 18, 2007

I'm not the patient kind
Don't waste life waiting on things
I'll take things before they come
Whatever life brings

I live in the moment
I like live on the edge
Screaming from the cliffside
Is like jumping from a ledge

But when it comes to you
My life turns inside out
Waiting and wishing
Is what my life is about

I find myself waiting on you
And that's really not like me
You're looking all around you
But it's not me that you see

I'm screaming "I love you"
Yet not with my voice
I'm afraid that I'll hurt you
So I don't have a choice

Sometimes I wish
You would just say it too
I know that my love for you
Is completely true

One of these days
You'll see us together is fate
Though even if it kills me
I guess I'll have to wait

    OMG. omgomgomgomg.

Idk what to say. Lol. I'm seriously bawling my eyes out right now! But, that's just cos.. I can relate so much & it's so beautiful. [and also, i'm so very emotional right now]. haha.

But I absolutley adored this. It had so much emotion in it. It flowed wonderfully & nothing seemed forced.

    Perfectly penned, deary.

Wow.. so much emotion, and the flow is awesome, all except for the last line in the 4th stanza, idk, maybe it's just me, but it doesn't seem to fit.. maybe if you reworded it?? The wording everywhere is else is exceptional, and the idea is awesome, I totally know how you feel. It's so difficult to not be seen by the one you love. Awesome write 5/5
