Constant Heartaches

Constant heartaches embrace my soul
Engulfing me; taking away
The sanity I held at bay
Vile constant heartaches
Damaging,
The strongest, bravest part of me

Constant heartaches eat my hope
Surrounding me; washing away
The innocence in disarray
Keen constant heartaches
Butchering,
The only living part of me.
