Evanescent

by Lady Nik   Mar 22, 2007

Your life as what it was before. Locked up tight like a closed door. Desolated and empty. Praying you were still with me. I wonder why this happened to you. You were so strong and true. Believing life isn't what it seemed, knowing I was wrong. But you still believed.
Evanescent

Trying my best to forget. But I can't and I hate it. They say that you are really gone. I can not believe it. I have to prove them wrong. Feeling so much sorrow and dread. I still remember the last word you said.
Evanescent

A smile you always showed. The best person I've ever known. Humble and so kind. You are out of this world, but still on my mind. When I fell you helped me up. Now that you're gone who can I trust. I sit and wait for tomorrow. Without you I've grown to be hollow.
Evanescent

Wandering and waiting. While your beautiful memory is fading. Listen to the rain as it falls. Staring at the phone waiting for you to call. Now that you have past on, I don't feel the same. I don't feel as strong. Missing your presence. Because you are evanescence.
