My Violent Heart [Poem]

by Teria   Mar 23, 2007

Tears bestowed upon them.
Fear along with pain.
For what you've done
shall put their hearts in vein.

Forgotten yet remembered.
That past will be the past.
But, today was a new start..
And, you pushed it by too fast.

Your own two daughters,
wondering if he'll stay.
Your own two daughters,
broken this very day.

My silent heart can't take this.
Rapidly, rage is building up.
For, you've taken too much control.
And, they're beginning to corrupt.

My mind's ready to explode,
My eyes can't watch it any longer.
You say you want the best for them,
but you're not making them any stronger.

Weaker and weaker the two become.
Until, the end is beneath their nose.
Weaker and weaker the two become.
When he'll leave, neither knows.

The trials they going through.
Three dad's within nine years,
This one may leave again
And, that's their biggest fear.

My silent heart; silent no longer.
My exploding mind; exploding no longer.
My burned eyes; burning no longer..
For, my violent heart has become stronger.

I'm ready to change the way you think.
The truth shall come out, and set them free.
And, you shall realize that..
You and him aren't meant to be.
