Endless intermission

by Davey   Mar 25, 2007

I feel so motionless
Like my life is going nowhere
In and Endless Intermission of time

And I'm losing myself now
As I run through the fallen dreams
Staring at the stars as they gleam
Remembering the times with you
Screaming how I never knew
It would end like this
Now I'm left to stare into a Twilight Abyss

Time is standing still
Life's usual rhythm has faltered
In an Eternal uncertainty

I close my eyes and realize
How close tears are to falling
O the hesitance is resilient
The indecision longs to live
Answers are absent, I have none to give

And I'm losing myself now
As I relive those few moments
Where I was happy, the void far from here
I've made myself know, I'm not going to interfere
I know there's a plan in this, I just wish I knew
You are forever faithful, abiding love that never ends
But why does it seem like, assurance is just so far overdue

If I can just rid the thoughts
Of unreliable God from my mind
This Endless Intermission
Will fade into the darkness, a life far behind

OK yea i wrote some of this in the beginning of 8th grade, but i just now revised it and changed a whole lot of things, basically made it into a new poem. But when i read what I had before, it really applied to what i feel like right now, a lack of certainty in some certain situations. But some of it didn't really apply to anything going on now, so i changed those parts. Tell me what u think.
