The Loneliness

by Nana   Mar 27, 2007

The loneliness that seeps inside
Wishing that everything would be alright
Pictures of friends that plays missing to your heart
Knowing that those pictures you would never be a part
A longing that sings upon with melancholy song
Wanting what it knows it cannot have, wanting to belong
How pathetically wretched this poor heart sings
Praying with all its might to relinquish what this sorrow brings
Loneliness that consume
Living of what others presume
Happiness to be
No more than what others think they see
Should the melodious prayer reach the heaven’s above
Let not sorrow or loneliness drown you from hope or love
Friends from long past diminish from what is now
Not understanding why or knowing how
Simply recognizing what once was, no longer exist
And what you have now is what your mind chose to resist
Resistance from remembering, reminiscing, recollecting
Living now, all sadness neglecting
Perhaps one day someone will save what is left
And perhaps, one day, there is more to dwell than just death
Perhaps the world will no longer pass you by
And the loneliness and sorrow would only seem to be a lie
And until that day I’ll pray with all my might
That your heart won’t die, waiting, inside.
