Last legacy

by Black night   Mar 30, 2007

Voices all around me
laughter echoes through the void
yet it does not touch me
a flame
as the match is dropped and the paraffin lights.
I can smell that intoxicating smell,
like vodka to an alcoholic.
They wander why i have that Cheshire cat on my face
my eyes big and wide.
The flame catches,
and their look of despair
she cries
he yells
as the tongues of fire lick my boots.
Hairs singe
as they just get away
watching through the glass divide
unable to get in and prevent it.
Wood catches alight
and the petrol explodes
and the fire is reflected in their eyes
as the girls scream and drop to the floor
their tears evaporating before they hit the ground.
That smile was the last thing they saw
before it was blown of my face.
flesh and cloth alike
both burn
both cinder
as his last legacy was made.

*Kinda random, but it just came out and went where it wanted to go*
