To Love Imperfection

by Startle Me   Mar 31, 2007

Unwrap a shining smile
Broaden the pretty face
Look towards all staring
Self will not be disgraced

Use pretentious words
Conceal the shattered heart
Let no one special know
How the mind fell apart

Delay face's liquid rain
Falling from heart's paradise
Innovate the used intelligence
The soul's living disguise

Formulate world to cry in fury
Let them see their imperfection
Befriend only a gorgeous face
Choose from a few selections

Yet in the third of hearts
Crying to be set free
To open mind's beauty
Need to love what to see

You sused the same structure and pattern as the previous poem i read in this one. Again i loved the rhyme scheme youve got going on, and one more the rhyme's did noit seem forced. Your words caught my attention and i wanted to read more, you kept taht attention throughout the poem. I htought to improve i suggest you use some more poetry tecquniques. Like alliteration and repitition. And use punctuation. But eyah ery enjoyable reads! Keep writing... :) xx
