Timeless Tears

by Twisted Heart   Apr 1, 2007

Glistening tears
Sparkling pearls of sadness
Fall from the edge of time
Ticking away
The swirling moments of heartache
Upon the face so fair
Darkening the wounds
Stripping at the soul's core
With tempered hands
As they cling
To the hopes of tomorrow
But soon they parish
In thoughts of yesterday.
Emptiness abides
As slivers of pain fall
Weeping upon the mind

A good and sad free write. It's neat to see you do free style poetry but I do like your rhyming better. I've got some free styles too...mostly on allpoetry.com but they are good when you dont' feel like trying to rhyme. I consider them to be good release poems when you don't feel like being structured. Anyhoo...good job!

My favorite lines as I've told you already but ... I wanted to tell you again.

Isn't it amazing how a picture just grabs you and word begin to flow.
I looked at over 550 pics today and that one just spoke so much. 2 little objects yet so many stories can be told.

    Excellent write Auntie !
