Frozen Tears.

by Teria   Apr 3, 2007

A suspensory heart
left with only good-byes.
Forgotten by all man kind
who granted childish ways.

The silky skin turned rough
given by his consequences
of which each man has made,
and driven away ones self-esteem.

The sustained soul
left without patriotism.
This is no longer a war,
but a conflict of hate.

Despise his own ways
and his trivial mind,
Given by God, has
lent itself frozen tears.

This was really an interesting read. Powerful, and very expressive, despite the short phrases used.

    "The sustained soul
    left without patriotism.
This is no longer a war,
    but a conflict of hate."

^ This was my favourite stanza. It really made me think.
