How Many Lights Do You See?

by aDORKable x3   Apr 4, 2007

How many lights do you see
each time you walk away from me?
Do they get brighter, or continue to dim?
Is leaving me your only sin?

How many lights can you count?
For all your actions, can you account?
All the times you'd swore not to relive;
All of the times you thought I'd forgive.

How many lights light your endless road;
Walking down silently, carrying your heavy load?
Is the burden just too much to bear?
Is there something that you'd like to share?

How many lights dimly light your way?
Do you have a voice, or just nothing to say?
What happened to you, you were always so sweet?
Being with you was such a real treat.

How many lights are you aware of
walking down the road of false love?
Walking away from all the troubles, past.
Maybe you thought that we wouldn't last.

How many lights go out each day?
Each one for things you couldn't say.
It's funny, how much your leaving makes me free.
So tell me, How Many Lights Do You See?
