Blood Stained Love Story

by Disturbed and Under Age   Apr 4, 2007

His love was poison gas inhaled through her delicate nose
flowing through her blood like toxin in her veins
his hands were velvet caressing her silken skin
his lips inspired passion she could not resist
in his eyes she could see the world and all she wanted
with his words like chains her heart was bound
she believed in their love with her whole heart and soul
they lay together under the moon
in the cool grass beside a river of shining black diamonds
her mind was full and her body pure
so in love, her trust was that of a new born babe
he loved to hold her close and kiss her oh, so soft
so young and naive, but strong in her love
her faith in him was stronger than the wind
his hand in hers, he was her guide
he was her leader, she followed his stride
On this night beneath the stars
he made her last fatal mistake
he looked in her eyes and said it was over
tears soon over came her shock
her innocent pleas fell on a heart as hard as rock
he turned his back and faced the sky
she turned and fled, never asking why
through the woods, to the black stone bridge
she stood above the torrential waters
closed her eyes and lept for death
he followed her, but not fast enough
he watched her fall as his tears started to flow
he dragged out her body, but not her soul
it had flown to a better place
leaving him to stare at her empty face
the love he thought he did not possess
now roared with a vengeance, taking over
his agonized screams were heard throughout the woods
as he knelt in the grass holding death in his arms
