The Ruby Queen

The Ruby Queen dances in the middle of the night.
Her sparkling blue eyes shine and shimmer with delight.
She dances by herself, an angel in morbid isolation.
Desperately trying to cure her thoughts of fear and desolation.

The Ruby Queen sleeps soundly as the world around her rests.
Beating slowly, broken inside, lies a heart beneath her chest.
A delicate, calming smile, decorates her ruby lips,
But the pain she feels inside: something she will never let slip.

The Ruby Queen waves shyly, saying goodbye to no one at all.
Her pain has taken over, all she's left to do is fall.
Everyone thought she was happy, right from the very start,
But the truth was a different story; she died from a broken heart.

    The structure of this was beautiful the words and the line length was amazing.. I loved everything about this one. Nothing at all to critique on.. and the last line was amazing so very powerful.

    Wow, you're pretty good. =) I think I may add you to my favorites, and it takes a lot to make it onto my favorites haha. I really liked this poem, no scratch that, I LOVED this poem! You had amazing imagery and I could just picture everythign you said, the flow was a bit choppy at parts but not bad, and the end really took my breath away, I loved the way you ended this. The title is what made me really want to read it too haha, I liked the title. Anyways, enough of my blabbing...great job! ^_^
