Holding Death in My Hands

by Jess Lynn   Apr 9, 2007

Holding death in my hands,
Watching, waiting,
Sitting here,
Hoping, praying.

Holding death in my hands...
Please don't die.
Life, soul withers away
While I will you to try.

Breath fades away
With one last little sigh
As one single teardrop
Falls from my eye.

Cold and unmoving
You were all that I had.
Now I'm left here, lonely
Holding death in my hands.
