Life Gets Too Hard

by Kristina   Apr 11, 2007

Sometimes life gets too hard,
That you feel like you can't go on,
All you want to do it give up,
On everything you've ever done.

You often ask yourself
"Why am I here? What's the point?"
You hate your life and you're always
Wishing things would get better.

It seems like the whole world hates you,
And everything is always your fault,
That no matter what you do,
Your heart still falls apart.

I liked it because a lot of people can relate to it. Sure they're never right and they have friends and blah blah blah but it's just how they feel. 4.

Main thing I liked about this poem was how it was easy to read.
It is thoughts that many teenagers think and that makes it a subject many poets write about.
But that doesn't make it bad, You just gotta try harder to beat the many other poets that have written about the same topic.

This needs a little more for me.
    But was still good.
Not the best;not the worst. =]

This was so very sad, yet so beautifully written.
I loved the opening, it really dragged me into the poem and the ending was such a perfect way to wrap things up.
    beautiful work!

This one was better than the other one I read, it wasn't as cliched and it held so much irony in the line "Why am I here? What's the point?" .. because so many people often ask that question. I liked the ending to this one as well, it wrapped it up pretty good. Keep writing. =)
