Apathy

An escape from torment
empty of emotion
emotion that rends my soul
detached from strife
detached from chaos
detached from life
a welcome respite
yet worth the price?
submerged in apathy
i fade away

more or less just random thoughts. Not very poetic. I might put more time into it later.
