You've Gone One Step Too Far(Parquette)

by Jenni Marie   Apr 16, 2007

You've gone one step too far
Now I know you were lying all along
I guess friendship isn't high on your list
That's too bad-to me you once shone like a star.

You've gone one step too far
Finally realized you're the one who's wrong
Beginning to hate you, hope you get the gist
Now know without you I can finally be strong.

You've gone one step too far
All the times you made me cry, tears causing a mist
My tears to you, like your very own song
Meant to be your friend yet I'm the one you diss.

You've gone one step too far
Way you treat your friends is disrespectful and wrong
Finally realizing you are a complete b i t c h
Well honey, it's your friendship I wont miss!

Parquette contains four stanzas, each containing four lines. The first line of the poem is repeated in every stanza as the first line.

I can see a trend here.. Has a friend done something to you??
But on to the poem, im my entire career of poetry, i have only ever attempted one parquette and that was hard enough! lol
You've done a great job on this one, it seemed so effortless!
    Well done
