My love left that day,
the first day I ever saw snow fall.
Snowflakes fell from the empty sky above,
planting ice cold kisses on my face like how he use to do.
He kissed my lips softly,
there in the freezing snow.
He whispered,"I love you.." into my ear,
he held my hand as he said goodbye.
Who knew that'd be the last time I'd ever see him...
the only one who knew how to make me smile?
Before he turned away,
he promised he'd return.
He swore he'd come back for me,
but my heart just couldn't believe he's gentle words.
His departure torn me apart...
when he left,
he took my scattered heart with him.
I felt like nothing,
I couldn't even tell my love goodbye.
Fear completely consumed my soul,
I couldn't even tell him,"I love you too."
My silence hurt him I knew,
I saw his fallen tear as he turned away.
That's when my love finally left me,
alone in that freezing blanket of ice.

This poem wasn't just something I made up off of the top of my head. Something like this sorta happened to my friend months ago. If you're confused about a few things in this part then just wait until I write Part 2! It should clear a few things up </3
