I Am...

I am the dark
And he is the night
I am the coward
He has the fight

I am the thorn
He is the rose
He is a swan
Where I am the crows

I am the sad
Where he is the joy
I am the girl
He is that boy

I am the poem
But he is the book
I am the glance
He has the look

I am broken
Where he is whole
I'm the criminal
Yet my heart he stole

I am the hurt
He is the strong
I am the mistake
He knows no wrong

I am the forgotten
He is the King
I have the knife
He has the wings

I am the life
Where he is the dead
I am the souls
And the blood he will shed
