Count on me

by Mommy And Me   Apr 18, 2007

Tears of an angel falls down her frail cheeks
A scrape of a kness, and a shock to the heart
But no worry little child, i am here
You can count on me

Torn photographs, with a locker of pain
A crush breaks another heart
But no worry my dear child, i am hear
You can count on me

Tension builds within the walls of hope
A ring slips off her finger
But no worry child of mine, i am here
You can count on me

Priest chanting words of the father
tears fills the childs eyes
I am sorry little angel
Tonight i am not here.
Tonight you can not count on me

I liked this one, but it didn't quite strike something with me like a lot of your poetry does.."A scrape of a kness, and a shock to the heart " Should kness be knees? "But know worry child of mine, i am here" Should know be no? And there is also one line in here that is not capitalized when the rest of them are. Just fix it up a bit Dear and It'll be better..it has potential. =)

This is a very curious write, and the clever use of certain words makes it one that begs to be read more than once. Ingenious.
