An Uneventful Spring Break

by Curtis Ayukawa   Apr 21, 2007

So bored and alone, time passed so slowly from day to day,
The weather outside once bright and sunny, now cloudy and grey.
As the T.V. stared at me, I sat on my ass.
I remembered just once I mowed the damn grass.

Now of course like any boy, I ate and ate,
Yea maybe, so what, I gained some weight.
Oh I forgot, I went to get a haircut,
Thank god for once I got off my lazy butt.

I did go driving about once or twice,
My dad wasn't with me so it was quite nice.
It was like a miracle with no yelling or screaming,
It was like just this once, that I was dreaming.

My computer is a wonder, it's really great,
Kind of sad, but I think it's my soul mate.
Talking with friends kept me awake,
Kept me going for my own sake.

Anywho, its time for me to leave,
Next spring break will be good, this I believe.
