Friendly Death

by omgitsmina   Apr 22, 2007

Death is in every step we tread
In our thoughts and in our head
In our hearts and in our tombs
Ever present, darkness looms

And with every moments wake
Toys of terror embers make
And with every passing breath
Closer still, our keeper Death

Death is the nurturer of one and all
Embracing arms of shadows as we fall
Providing shelter for the weak
For the broken, for the meek

Your most horrid enemy he will take
From the light to darkness wake
From the hollowness deep inside
You will rejoice your foe had died

And if ever you should heed
A friend in time of need
Death will be there by your side
Arms of nightfall you to hide
