I Love You Mom

by TheWorldFellNUWerentThere   Apr 23, 2007

This is a poem for my Mom! I love her to death.
And I don't know why people say they don't like their mom because moms are suppose to be the best thing to happen to you. I can't see mine only in the summertime. So those who say you don't like your mom because she won't let you do this or that, just shut your mouth because having a mom there for you in your life everyday is A LOT better then not having a mom there at all unless in the summertime!

I wish my mother knew this. Should I post it on her myspace page to really show her how I care?

Enjoy!

When all is silent,
And my eyes become blinded,
By the things in the world,
She opens them back up for me to see reality.

Only if she knew,
That she was the one I can go to,
When things become wrong,
Only if she knew,
That she is the best mom anyone can have,
And she accepts things as what they are.

We can laugh about so many different things,
Yet we know why each other is laughing,
We'll say certain things,
And know what each other is talking about.

Only if she knew,
How much I miss her to death,
Would it change anything,
Or would it still be the same as it is now?

Yeah, we watch different shows,
And we think differently of things
But we are different people,
Yeah, we have different emotions,
And we choose to cry or laugh or hurt at different times,
But it's what makes us stronger.

Everything she's done,
Is a part of me,
Everything I've done,
Is a part of her.

We don't see each other everyday,
Like a mother and daughter should,
But she made a sacrifice,
Of choosing what was good for her at the time,
And worked me around that,
And I'm proud of her for that.

Only if she knew,
How much I think of her all the time,
If I could see her everyday,
I'd say " I love you Mom."

I'd say you ought to put it on your myspace...
i bet she'd love to read it, it's really awesome...
    (i've written one,too, but in portuguese...=D)

now, speaking of the poem itself, i think it's really a beautiful one...the flow is very good...and it's something anyone can (and should) relate to...

For some reason I have this urge to call my mom. hmm. Well written, it brought tears to my eyes, and i am sure that your mom is proud of you and she probaly misses you too. You did a good job, of putting your emtions in this one. please don't stop writting, the world would be at such a loss without, your true way of writting. 5/5

Aw this poem was very sad.. and I think that you definatly should post it on your MySpace to show her exactally how you feel because I think that she would appreciate it a bit more than anyone else here could. But in the long run I think that its very sweet and its so good to hear of people with good relationships with their parents, to many people out there these says aren't that lucky.
