Of Dawn and Dusk

by omgitsmina   Apr 23, 2007

Of a time happily ever after and once upon
There is no thereafter beyond the far reaches of Dawn
And the Dawns fair light, thus cascaded upon the lands of old
Reveal the hidden tales and distrusts of a time of sorrowful woe and behold
The moonlit shadows that hide all the fears and demons of the past
The memories that reside within you, all the painful memoirs that outlast
But the Moon smiles rays of light upon the Dusk and her embrace
Her beauty of darkness and nightfall, such a holy and sacred place
And the shadows dance within the darkness, mocking your every breath
They watch and wait, laughing, hoping to cause your sudden, violent death
But the Moon's brilliant luminesque will protect your soul
The flame in the darknend abyss will keep you in control
Of your life and what thus moves far beyond this night
And know that from now on, everything will be alright
