Purification

by Christopher Lee   Apr 25, 2007

No longer needing to hide,
the cloak doesn't fit anymore anyway.
Can't deny my own nature,
won't change no matter what i say.

Time lingers on,
remorse only in living the lie.
These kind of actions never work,
so why did i try?

The dream shifts,
then implodes as it breaks.
Nothing left to hide myself in,
my eyes cant invent for self's sake.

Selfish in my lust for attention,
desperate for the jewels.
All that never will be,
existing in a cesspool.

Take this and call in the morning,
says the doc with a magic pill.
Believes it solves all,
but only makes the cause distilled.
