Fallout

by Christopher Lee   Apr 25, 2007

Right here, right now.
It ends here tonight.
The eternal sacrifice of love,
innnocent blood of the lamb.

The choice of life not given,
the freedom withheld.
Our hearts intertwined,
then burned in hell.

Fallout surrounding us,
neither able to speak.
Our childeren play on unaware,
our feelings finally again shared.

He said, she said,
both of us screaming.
Then one escapes,
the other left dreaming.

One woke from the dream,
to an empty heart.
The other went to the next level,
made fresh with a new start.

Arms of the loved surrounded one,
A new home to set the mood.
Four walls show the other what was had,
the bite mark still stinging.
