Heavily Dreaming

by Chemistry   Apr 27, 2007

Dark shadows are cast over
And I feel it
An aura of grief around me

My eyes then see
An endless road
Darkness, nothing but insanity

My spine tingles
As I hear a blank shriek
From somewhere close beside me

My heart stops beating
To the echoed sound
Of mourning and of misery

I close my eyes
Very tightly
Hoping it's a mere reverie

Then open them
And here I am
In my bed, all damp and sweaty

This poem is good. I like it, it's different from some of the other poems that I have read. Keep up the good work.
