A Stranger In My Arms

by Jenni Marie   Apr 27, 2007

Once I knew who you were
Knew everything about you
Now I know next to nothing
And this leaves me feeling blue.

Used to anticipate
Being in your embrace
Now I have to admit
Barely recognize your face.

Yet still we plod along
As though nothing is wrong
Neither of wants to say the words
Neither of us can be strong.

Nostalgia for when we first met
When I'd fallen for all your charms
Now I can't help but cry
For you're a stranger in my arms.

    Now I have t admit .. to*

Overall it was great. Again your rhyming was perfect, I noticed you like to rhyme you and blue. :) Saw that in the last poem too. Your flow went along nice.

I only had one part that totally threw me off:

    Nostalgia.
