I've known you forever,
And loved you just as long,
I cried all night just for you,
But still kept going strong,

You've never really been there,
When I needed you the most,
It seems as though you just don't care,
Like to you I'm just a ghost.

At school plays or soccer games,
I search all over for your face,
But as I search I get this sense,
That I am just a big disgrace.

So now I wonder,
If your love is true,
If your trying hard at all,
to be a dad,
To be you.

Your lack of fatherhood to me,
Has caused a pain in my heart,
