Prices paid and spirals twirled.

by Teria   Apr 29, 2007

I'm trapped within these doors,
that close behind each thought.

The memories that linger within my tired brain,
are the memories that cause my heart to go insane.

The fears I hold deep down,
the ones that make no sound..
They're what stays by me,
when I'm too blind to see.

The heartless dreams that run through-out my body,
are the dreams that no one knows but me.

The one I love has dissapeared,
deep from inside what society feared..

The cost of something about this size,
is something that no one tends to realize.
The things I hide from this very world,
are the prices paid, and spirals twirled.

Very cool and somewhat mystical. I really liked it rather you tried to put an element of magic into it or not. For the most part it had nice rhythem too. 5/5

I liked the repeating stanza pattern it was pretty cool and I haven't seen it in awhile
I think that the word choice was pretty good
but not as good as some of your other poems
But it was a good poem anyways
