Promises made

I never thought this day would come. I never thought the day would come when you would leave me. When you said good-bye you broke my heart and made me cry. For hours I sat here in silence like I had been forgotten. The words you said echo in my memory. The promises you made are now broken. I thought we had a chance with each other. Now the future I thought we would have looks at me like it was an unwanted guest. I keep telling myself it will be OK. But this time it wont be easy because the promises you made are now broken. I feel like i am caught up inn sorrow and tangled in my dreams. Promises made.
