My Nana

by Valiantpenguin   May 2, 2007

The first time wasn't heaven
a baby in a trailer park
you were never there to help
barely able to pay any bills

The second time was better
though still bad enough
two baby's and your in the army
never home, now thats messed up

Third time was nice
in San Diego we'd fish
spend days on the beach
but it still had to end

Fourth time isn't perfect
but much better than the first three
we're still together
the kids are growing
and have kids of their own
oh how happy they are
what a lucky woman, mom, grandma i am
to have such a loving family

In honor of my Nana Kathy
