That I will EVER go away
I want to finally make you understand
Right here, right now, today.
This *Long and Winding Road
That we're traveling together
Doesn't stop anywhere 'round the world
It ends up at Forever.
When I envision my future
I see you right next to me
If you weren't beside me
What kind of life would it be?
This isn't the sort of Love
That will pass as Time sails by
It will only grow deeper, stronger
As we live our life as "You & I"
Obstacles seem insurmountable
Every day life drives us insane
But then a quick chat and glimpse
Or simply, on your lips, my name...
And we're once again reassured
That this is what was meant to be
This isn't a Love that will ever end
We'll still be together in Eternity.
I don't want you for one second baby
I don't want you for one day
I don't want you for just a week
I don't want you to EVER go away...
Please just trust in me darling
There's no one for me but You
I would let my whole life be a lie
If you would at last believe THAT to be true.
I don't want you for a month
Or even an entire year...
I want a lifetime of love with you
I just need you so much to be here.
I thank God each and every night
That he blessed me with your heart
After this agony is over, darling
We won't ever again be torn apart.

    THIS IS A REALLY GREAT POEM AND I ALWAYS LOOK FORWARD TO READING MORE OF YOUR WORK. EVERY TIME I SEE YOUR NAME UNDER A POEM AND KNOW THAT IT WILL BE GREAT.
