As Much As I Can Take (Triolet)

by Jenni Marie   May 8, 2007

No longer do I want to be friends with you
I've had as much as I can take
Countless times you've left me feeling blue
No longer do I want to be friends with you
No longer are you someone whom I value
Discovered you're just another useless fake
No longer do I want to be friends with you
I've has as much as I can take.

Triolet-consists of 8 lines. 1st 4th and 7th line repeat.
The 2nd and 8th line repeat as well.
The rhyme scheme is abaaabab

    A wonderfully penned form!
In such few words you've made a very impactive statement.

    In the last line
I've has as much as I can take.
    ^^^
I think you may of meant
I've had as much as I can take

    Wonderfully penned Triolet !
