In the month of May

by Lithium   May 15, 2007

The leaves are falling from the sky,
Autumns here that's no lie,
In the month of May.

Words of love are spoken,
Each autumn leaf a token,
In the month of May.

Birds are singing the sweetest song,
Nights high, low and ever so long,
In the month of May.

Blossoms bloom through the trees,
Settling down for their afternoon tea,
In the month of May.

Let down your hair and embrace this time,
Where children laugh and dandelions chime,
In the month of May.

How beautiful this is. The imagery makes me feel like I am outside enjoying all this.

Let down your hair and embrace this time,
Where children laugh and dandelions chime,
    In the month of May.

Love these lines. I can see the children playing and laughing in the warm sunshine.
    Excellent !
