voices

in his mind

stop telling lies

to this gentle heart

that is afraid to love

or to be loved by others

tired and feeling unworthy

to be dealt a second hand in life

listen dear friend, find comfort in my words

feel the beauty of the whispering wind

release the pain digging in your soul

be gone, oh dark shadow of fear

burrowing within your veins

sleep peacefully tonight

awaken refreshed

prepared to fly

arm in arm

my dear

friend
